Next analysis for IEM Dallas is Aurora vs Heroic. As mentioned above, Aurora still has a match to play and then faces a long trip to the U.S. with very little turnaround time. While the market seems to have priced that in somewhat, I still believe it’s a massive handicap - especially when compared to Heroic, who’ve had more time to rest, recover, and prepare.

Aurora will have almost no time to work out effective strategies against Heroic. If this were a match against a weaker team, I’d probably skip the bet - but Heroic has been showing real promise lately. Their new roster has been putting up solid Tier 2 results, and they’ve even taken down Tier 1 teams like Astralis and Liquid.

In summary, while I still slightly favor Aurora in terms of overall quality, this feels like exactly the kind of situation where Heroic can capitalize. They’ll come in better rested, better prepped, and hungry to upset.
